Stampede doesn’t have to cost a fortune, here’s how to save some money

Calgary Stampede 2015 officially kicks off tomorrow right after the Stampede parade, which means 10 days of parties, midway food and lots of things to spend money on. Here’s some tips for enjoying the Stampede without breaking the bank:
  • Look out for package deals at select stores or on select products such as: Costco (Stampede Bucks at $10 off) and Safeway (Ride & Play Cards at $20 off).
  • Sneak-A-Peek is today, and admission is only $9
  • Suncor Family Day is July 5 and admission is free between 6 and 9 am
  • Western Heritage Day is Tuesday, July 7 and admission is free for those 65 and older
  • BMO Kids’ Day is Wednesday, July 8 and admission is free from 7 am to 9 am for children and their accompanying adults
  • Attend a free pancake breakfast: this website has a list of hundreds of free Stampede breakfasts you can attend
